Terms of Service
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By using Clarobit (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
What Clarobit does
Clarobit scans publicly accessible websites for potential security and privacy issues. It reads only what any anonymous browser visitor would see — public HTML and JavaScript bundles. It does not access databases, backend systems, source code, or anything requiring authentication.
What Clarobit doesn't do
Scan results are not a guarantee of security. Clarobit checks for a specific set of known issues and may not detect all vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or risks. A clean result does not mean your site is secure — it means we didn't find the specific issues we check for. Do not rely solely on Clarobit scan results to make security decisions.
Authorized use
By submitting a URL, you confirm that you have authorization to scan that site. You must either own the site or have explicit permission from the owner. Scanning sites you don't own or have permission to scan is prohibited and may violate applicable laws.
Privacy claims verification
Clarobit's privacy policy analysis is automated and based on publicly available information only. Verdicts of “match,” “contradiction,” or “unverifiable” are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. They do not constitute legal advice and should not be used as evidence of legal compliance. Consult a qualified lawyer for legal advice about your privacy policy.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarobit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, or from any scan results or their absence. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Prohibited uses
You may not use Clarobit to scan sites without authorization, to facilitate attacks on third-party systems, to circumvent security measures, or for any unlawful purpose.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
